Stages of Human Growth and Development

Introduction

Human life is subject to constant change, constant development. Man is a being a dynamic, growing not only in the purely biological, but also on the mental plane. From the moment of conception a man seeks to update it. This update includes changes at the level of behavior, at the level of mental structures, the structure of personality and in relations person - environment. Therefore, my research is based on observations/interviews with people in various stages of their development.

The First Two Years

Thesis Statement

“A characteristic feature of the child during this period is a huge demand for movement, love and parents affection.”

Observation/Interview

I observed that in the first and second year of child's life. The pace of somatic development is now much slower, there is less demand for food, and the child becomes a much slimmer, but it is more efficient. A child develops its motor skills and speech, which is becoming more independent and self-contained(Bredekamp, 1997). A characteristic feature of the child during this period is a huge demand for movement. We can call this "hunger and sensations of movement." Therefore, the great mobility leads to fatigue, so you parents take care of their child slept a lot during the first and second year. The first year of life is a period of astonishing growth and development (Collins, 2004).

The first two years of child is a critical time for the parents. The child is learning. What's more, it receives the emotional satisfaction to the needs to be able to learn and venture into the exploration of its environment while relying on the certainty of appropriate assistance, if a hazard is presented. The first two years of his life for this purpose are a critical time, as it cannot survive if there is a lack of food or physical care. Obviously, the relationship to the mother begins well before birth (Richter, 2007). Already forges the strength and generosity of a woman establish connection with her child. The capacity to love a human being appeared very early in life. During this period the child starts trying to learn the language and convey most of its messages through non-verbal communication.

The Play Years

Observation/Interview

I observed that the during the play years of the human i.e. 3rd to 7th year the head enlarges slightly, increasing the trunk and limbs, which extend out clearly. Bones and muscles grew rapidly, also increases muscle strength and motor ability. Development and improvement of the internal organs are: heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, which acts more closely to the mature organism function (Klein, 2008).

I observed that the child during the preschool period overcomes many stages of development, but some of the characteristics of this age should present the analytical method to better understand the child, his needs, reactions, and respond to the ...
