ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the advent ofthe Internet and the impact thatthe Internet has on education. More specifically, the research literature provides a description about the impacts ofthe Internet on primary education systems. It explains the threats and critical concerns that related tothe Internet use by students of primary level. Furthermore, the research has also explained that positive impact ofthe Internet which helps the students in developing and the perceptions and implementations ofthe Internet by the teachers in primary education systems.

Internet
Advent of the Internet was an effort of some people having visionary thinking, in early 1960's. These people believed that there was enormous potential in letting computers to be used as a source of sharing information and doing research. With these views and ideas, the Internet emerged and since then it has gained enormous popularity across the globe. It is often said that technology has impacted and transformed human society in the last century. With more and more technological innovations and integration into everyday life, technology will continue to have a great impact in changing human society (Bartlett, 2001, 43). It is then necessary to think and research the ways in which technology could change all facets of the human experience, including the educational experience. Learning institutions are changing as more technology is used and integrated by students and teachers.
Although technology has constantly changed human life in the last century, the education community is still behind in understanding the ways technology has changed and impacted both the learning and teaching experience.
Internet and Education
Internet has become one of the most important and largest sources of learning that is easily available to both the students and teachers. During the previous years, this situation has been continuously analysed by the Government, in order to increase the use of information technology in education systems and to make sure that everyone in United Kingdom has easy access to ...
