Over the months, the campaigns were designed to capture the vote of confidence and trust by the majority of the segments of the public. In America, there are people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. The ones that are originally residing are too evolving over time, and their demands from the government have changed.

Social media has played a major role in interaction and inspiration to the public in this presidential election of 2012. Social networks like Facebook book are the mirror of the real popularity of an individual(Benjamin, W., 2011). The media stayed a supporter of both the candidates of the election 2012. They helped raise the spirits of all the individuals who use digital technology and kept them informed of the elections progress. There were poll surveys on different Medias, and a public opinion poll was gathered. Also, movie, music and sports celebrities were also used as they could change people's mind and therefore, the most recognized faces were used for the campaigns. Further, both the candidates sought brands support through being on the covers of cups and shirts. All this is done to reach out to everyone and influence their decision in making a wise choice of the vote. Although, the consumer brands cannot help in winning but they contribute to the success. The messages and the facts that are on paper are much more important that the media activities and marketing campaigns the candidates sought.

The public constitutes of the minority groups, people with different ethnic and religious backgrounds. There are the issues of the young who want change from the bureaucratic system, the elderly who are more concerned with the health policy, international communities are concerned with the relationship they have with this Super power(Benjamin, W., 2011).
