The next election of United States for the presidential seat is scheduled on November 6th, 2011. This will be the 57th quadrennial election in which the president and vice president of the United States will be elected by the presidential electors. President Obama the current president of the country is eligible for his second and final presidential term announces to look for nominations from the Democratic Party in this election. The presidential election of 2012 will correspond the Senate elections of the United States, in which thirty races will take place also the House of Representatives elections to opt for members for 113th Congress. This election will also cater many state government races and 11 gubernatorial races. In this paper, we will be considering probable events that will occur from now to the election date in 2012. It is evident that Barack Obama has probable chance of getting elected again in these elections. We will predict certain events and identify reasons to justify our claim.

Electoral College vote allotment for presidential elections from 2012 to 2020 has been changed by 2010 census. Due to the reapportionment on the 2010 census, eight states of the country represent gained votes. While other 10 states lost votes. This would give net loss of six electoral vote to the Democratic Party, representing the states won by John Kerry, Gore, John and Barack Obama, in the last there presidential elections. On the other hand, a gain of six electoral votes will be won by the Republican Party, including states won by John McCain and George Bush in the last three elections. This results in gain the Republicans a total national gain of 181, while those votes that were allocated to the remaining states remain unaffected form the total of 115 (The Associated Press, 2011).
Several states of the country passed new laws that were attacked by the Democratic Party in order to improve the presidential prospect of the Republicans. Early voting period were abbreviated by West Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. All ex-cons were excluded from voting by Iowa and Florida, while voter were required to identify themselves to cast ballots form government provided IDs in Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Kansas. President Obama, The Democratic Part and NAACP, oppose many state laws, which were condemned by Bill Clinton. He claimed that these actions will disenfranchise the voter community that will influence college students, Latin and African Americans.
