Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to analyze how do new technologies engaged with daily life? The quest for quality of life (QoL) is a increasing anxiety for persons and groups searching to find sustainable life approval in a technologically altering world. Industry, buyer assemblies, academics, and principle manufacturers have searched to better realize how the Internet assists to or detracts from society. This study analyzed the consequences of Internet undertakings, new media use, social support, and leisure undertakings on seen value of life. Correlation outcomes displayed those Internet undertakings, for example utilizing the Internet for sociability, joy searching and data searching, and new media use, correlate positively with diverse proportions of social support. However, use of the Internet, particularly for sociability, and computer use were inversely connected to QoL. Furthermore, hierarchical regression investigation disclosed that affectionate, affirmative social interaction, and emotional and informational social support, obtained from either online or offline causes, are the strongest determinants of value of life. More significant, QoL can furthermore be increased if apt allowances of time are expended on media-related undertakings, namely, less time on utilizing the Internet for intimate self-disclosure and in playing computer sport, and more time on hearing to melodies on CD/MD/MP3. Finally, taking part in community or devout undertakings for leisure was furthermore a important predictor of QoL. Implications considering principle formulation to advance life value are discussed.
