Parmenides and Heraclitus were among Greek philosophers who established certain theories that are inconsistent about moving and being. Their theories differ in how they perceive or analyze things. Therefore, this essay explores and compares their theories.

Parmenides uses 'reason' as a tool of knowledge while Heraclitus in turn is based on sensitivity.
