In ancient Greek and ancient Roman religion is a belief in God. They have the same beliefs, but also significant differences. They are from one another, and gave them to the people of morality. It consists of many important gods and goddesses that played a role in everyday life in Roman and Greek average person of that time.

Generally in the ancient world, religion was a social thing and a civic thing. People did not class themselves by religious denomination/affiliation, even though everyone practiced slightly differently. The operative word is more orthopraxy (right action) than orthodoxy (right belief). ...
