Governmental waste administration authorities liked green construction because of its focus on decreasing construction and demolition debris in landfills. Cities couldn't meet their waste decrease goals without utilizing some components of green building. Construction and demolition debris anecdotes for over 20 per hundred of landfill capability, as I'd learned. Getting construction proprietors to support us was a larger challenge. The underlying ethic of all enterprise is profit. Building proprietors will only embrace green construction when it is joined exactly to their bottom line: rental rates, tenant leasing, smaller costs, higher occupancy rates, larger lend allowances at smaller interest rates, higher building sales charges, ...
