A sentence is considered the basic unit of written English language. Expository writing is conveyance of data, often necessary or even crucial information, to readers who need that data. If a reader misunderstand a sentence in a work of fiction, than there are no harm results. In writing directions, policies, methods, guidelines, study reports, individual connection, and news media information need to be written so that the readers realizes precisely what the author intended (Brien, 2000).
