Introduction

The understanding of how sentences work is the first step towards being able to participate in the applications of language. At times the grammar of a given sentence is so complex that it is useful to diagram its constituent parts. Many will prefer to diagram all the sentences of the passage rather than to learn a new system, such as writing out a sentence flow.
