The movie Glory I based on the situation during the Civil war and is highlights the celebration of an act of mass courage which is not-so-renowned. Precisely, the heroes involved in this act are now famous as a result of racist view of history and the major reason behind this was all the heroes were black. They belonged to the 54th Regiment of the Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, which was led by Col. Robert Gould Shaw. Colonel was the son of a dominant opponent.
