Genocide is known to be the significant killing series. It is based on the ethnic and racial discriminations. It may also be due to the political and social class differences. This act is intended to destroy the whole nation, race, ethnic; step by step.

Darfur is a region in West Sudan that is facing severe social issues. Darfurians is be victimized to an ongoing violence. According to a survey by Hagan and Rymond-Richmond, twenty crime incidents have been reported per house. The main reason behind these social issues is observed to be a state of stress between Blacks and the Arabs. In 1990, the Sudanese government armed the Arab Janjaweed. According to these groups the Sudanese government positively discriminates the Arabs, and has negative belief regarding the non-Arabs. This social condition is an outcome of the killing and raping of non Arabs in Darfur. The Janjaweed group is responsible for these inhuman activities. Moreover, the controlling government of East and North Sudan started the genocide as an act of refining the Darfur region

Furthermore, the government was involved in bombing the African village. The villages were also attacked through horses and camels. Motor vehicles were also used for this purpose. The villagers had to face racial discrimination and sexual violence. The government along with the Janjaweed together started to create situations which started destroying the lives of black Africans. The food stealing, looting and destroying of food stores was common. The worst part included poisoning of water wells. America asked China to cut off trade from Sudan. US also wanted to sent in its army for operation but it was not possible. It was mainly because of America's army already engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Critically evaluate the social and psychological consequences of blaming victims of crime for their victimization.

Scholars have been unable to explore the psychological impact of victims of crime. In the past, it has been a trend to blame crime victims (http://www.zurinstitute.com/victimhood.html). Violence is a part of every society. There are two main approaches of victimization. In the first approach the victim is blamed after he has been victimized. The examples of this approach include a raped women, battered spouse, etc. In the second approach, men are held responsible for all the violence that may happen in the society. This includes examples of a soldier as well as a husband in case of domestic violence.

The new approach on victimization proposes that victims must not be blamed, neither the role of the victim must be explored. There are a number of negatives effects of victimization.
