1900- The American Medical Association has grown in power since its founding in1847.  Health care becomes more organized as nearly half of all U.S. physicians join the AMA., thus bringing physicans together and unifying health care.

1910: The American Association for Labor Legislation holds the first national conference  for social health insurance. After the conference, reformers become outspoken for health insurance, the cause gains support(www.research.va.gov).
