The professor is affiliated with the school of business and management in Queen Mary University of London explored the diversity management in UK. The author studied various aspects of diversity management and common practices in the organizations. The purpose of the report is to identify the typical problems in the diversity using mainstream and critical approach. Bourdieu's concept is used to build a structure that gives the concept of management of diversity in three ways: diversity practitioner, diversity discourse and diversity practice. Empirical evidence was presented through the interview process of 19 different managers of private sectors organizations. The study identified the gap between diversity and common practices in various organizations and argued about the lack of standards for qualification and skills required for practitioners in the field. The findings showed the disclosure of in boundaries of diversity in the field. Diversity management is about giving equal opportunities to the group of diversified people. The research papers presented the phenomenon of equality along with the research of diversity management.

The research article studied the organizational diversity in the field of human resource management and identified the performance of organizations. The research takes into the consideration; the key elements like diversity in an organization, management functions, employees management, discrimination among employee, diversity in business enterprises, research in management, employment policy and strategic planning. The paper state that the organization consists of the individuals coming from different background, traditions and cultural values. The paper makes a contribution in understanding diversity with respect to the human resource function of the management. The in-depth study of 24 different organizations was conducted. The data was collected by using the procedure of interview sessions with 110 managers and 102 employees working under the managers. The interviews were conducted individually with ever person. The paper takes into consideration the US concept of managing diversity in the organizations. The concept is used to understand the operation management with several groups of diverse people in an organization. Finally the findings showed that there is major difference between the ways to handle diversity in the multinational organizations in the western countries and the concept is totally different for the eastern companies. There is a variation in the views of managers of both categories of organization. The research also address the diversity issues in India and the point of view of Indian managers was also taken into consideration. The issues of employees also vary that are related to the diversity management.
