Question 1

Generally, women have less economic opportunities worldwide for improving their lifestyle. Men are supposed to be violent and rude in their jump to the corporate stage while the women who perform similar actions are considered in an adverse pattern. The women are taught to be nice from their childhood and this pattern is also expected in the workplace (Sparks, 2013).

However, the relationship of women and workplace is not well as they are not paid well and not even considered strong for the promotions. The women have five most exigent challenges in the workplace. The first is to be dismissed, that the women are quite easily dismissed due to their gender and true approach.

Second is the ignorance, in which if a woman raises appoint in the meeting then she is ignored. Whilst, if a male worker raises the similar issue than all the staff attentively listen it and addresses the point. In addition, the women are also interrupted in boardrooms and public areas.

Third difficulty is being tested by the workplace staff. The women are tested if they are going with their associates. The people in the workplace points towards the woman that how she went to the top i.e. does she has the skills and relevant experience.

On the other hand, men are not tested on this scale of experience. Next challenge is the third sex, in which the women are challenged in the higher positions and are tested in a water torture. The women in senior position are viewed as “dragon lady” that they will use their position to overcome all the challenges and will misuse their powers.
