Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to make discussion on diversity in Cultural Diversity. The term Cultural Diversity refers to different cultures and norms. The term Cultural Diversity is used permanently in the political, academic and social benefits. The diversity means differentiating people in terms of their culture, races, ethnicity, languages, gender and religion. In this paper, we try to focus on the Cultural Diversity. The purpose of this paper is bringing such innovations to manage cultural diversity in organizations.

Managing Cultural Diversity through Innovation

Introduction

Diversity becomes an issue when a firm works in Cultural Diversity. Cultural Diversity means that the firm is running its business in different countries having different cultures. In such situations, different companies experience the issue of workplace diversity. It is very necessary for firms to maintain the workplace diversity in the Cultural Diversity environment (McEnrue, 2003). Cultural Diversity is taken as a complete response to the ethnic diversity. This refers to the involvement of multiple cultures, races, languages and ethnicity.

There are many companies that put special emphasis on the multicultural policies. The main reason for such reason is that Cultural Diversity helps in reducing the workplace diversity. The Cultural Diversity policies also help in promoting the ethnic and cultural communitarianism. The Cultural Diversity policies give respect to the different ethnicity and cultures, and in such a way it helps in saving the workplace diversity. Cultural Diversity policies are actually the response of cultural and ethnic diversity.

Methodology

This research is going to utilize the qualitative method of research. The data in the study has been collected through both a primary and secondary methodology and both have been used to perform the investigation. The secondary analysis has also been done through researching, studying and reproducing the literature from various articles, journals, cases and available literature.

Significance of the study

The different ethnic groups get revelation in the workplaces based on their cultural norms and work related behaviors. All sociologists and anthropologists, however, have of course not the same relation to cultural diversity. In the United States, whose population tends to see itself as a multiethnic nation, reflection on cultural diversity is important and old. The "vague identity" and the many problems they create, have helped raise awareness that cultural diversity was one of the major challenges of our time and so now, to build anywhere in legitimate object of sociological research including in France.
