Introduction

Human beings are known as social animals that make things for their own interests, and if we look at our past this has never been this much apparent as it is presently. Currently, all activities of humans depend on numerous systems, tools and machines, from offering entertainment, healthcare, communication and shelter to growing food. Few technologies such as the tractors, boost up and perform activities that are much efficient, which human beings have been doing for centuries. Other technologies like the internet or the airplanes have made possible those things, which human beings have never been capable of doing in the past. Such assortment of knowledge, devices and capabilities, which accompany then is referred to as technology. One could surely say that 'living life without technology would be similar to living life without air' in todays technical world. Thus, the human beings could be observed as being to a significant extent dependent on technologies. However, it is evident that the dependence on technology has diverged the human race away from reality. This paper critical explains the fact that human have become so technologically dependent that most of us would not be capable of continuing our life without technology.

Discussion

The term technology could be used specific or general. From the time of stone-age, humans are endeavoring to utilize imagination, resources and knowledge for inventing tools, or in much simpler terms the technologies for the human race's betterment. By looking in the past and comparing it with what is happening in current era, one would certainly see unrealistic development or advancement in technologies; accordingly, currently humans are living in a era within which they are surrounded by machines and technologies. Presently, the contemporary technology has its affects on nearly all areas of our routine. Technology, in the past was not that much accessible, affordable, or convenient and got utilized in high level military, scientific or industrial operations by technologists or scientists. Nonetheless, apart from education and infrastructure, technology in the present day plays a highly critical role in turning a nation into a super power in the world. Currently, technology is to a significant extent affordable and accessible that it is being utilized in all sectors of the contemporary society from scientific inventions to households (Stair & Reynolds, 2011).

Technological advancements have certainly made incredible impacts on the society in addition to the manner and quantity through which human are communicating with one another. The simplicity in communicating with one another might have been enhanced, although the lives on humans have turned out to be much impersonal due to this. The procedure through which human beings transform their surroundings and the nature for meeting their wants and needs is known as technology.
