Introduction

To make every day lectures more effective and efficient, a user centered design approach was adopted. An initial prototype was developed based on the general observations and then this prototype was tested in a workshop of about 20 students. The students were distributed with questionnaires to obtain the user perspective on the initial prototype and then interviews of few students were conducted. This is because interviews can provide the flexibility to further implore the justifications behind the results of the questionnaires.
