The Barriers to Communication in a Company
Whatever the size of the company and its industry is, communication contributes to the achievement of its objectives, and it improves the quality of products and services, promotes motivation, contributing to employee loyalty and creates value shared. There are communication problems specific to the company, namely: structural problems and other socio-cultural (Wood, 2007).
Obstacles Related to the Structure
Business operation requires a horizontal and vertical division of labor (notion of Adam Smith) which created entities in the business of management necessary for the differentiation that sees problems coordination and communication. Employees want a professional, but the seriousness is often top secret. While most executives recognize, that there is no strategic or confidential information. Thus, the conditions under which employees are informed are not fixed in the agreement and pay specific communication topics of interest to the employee no longer practiced (Drucker, 2004).
