Child Behavior in the Playground



Abstract

The paper analyzes the behaviour of the children in the school play ground. Participation in physical activity play throughout the school day has been shown to foster improved classroom attention and behaviour among children. The research regarding the observational system place emphases on the need for various psychometric studies, including the geographically and ethnically diverse samples of many of the promising play ground based observation systems. The findings provide school personnel with practical information regarding the influence of school physical activity periods on children's adaptive and problem behaviour within the elementary school setting.

Introduction

The behavioral observation system actually allows keeping a record for the important behavioral, interactional and academic processes of the child.
