Introduction

Challenging behaviour and learning disabilities involved has been a topic of discussion under several disciplines of management, psychology, anthropology, ethics to name a few. This paper shall help us understand the several facets of challenging behaviour in a holistic concept. This paper shall be both reflective and at the same time backed by evidence of what are the causes, signs and symptoms of challenging behaviour that may occur or are already present in the personality of a particular person. Finally we shall be providing recommendations for accounts of making and drawing significant conclusions upon how to go about assessing challenging behaviors and ultimately finding solutions for certain individuals who maybe going through such problems.

Part 1: A Reflective Essay

For the organization where I work in, although apt to adopt and growing towards becoming a technology driven organization, where resource officers and support staff come in from all areas and walks of life, there seems to be one particular individual who aims to be a more 'noted' individual in his own respect.

Subject: Iza Booth

Iza works in the logistics department, catering towards the distribution channel and supply chain of the organization. Although hired and contributing in his own way, the man has some seriously complex issues and concern when it comes to making a more defined approach to life.

General Attitude

Iza seems or rather displays a more authoritative figure when it comes to making significant contributions towards the well-being of his own personal self as priority and then towards the efficiency and improvement of the organization. One prominent feature of Iza's personality is that whether a show-stopping showman or person of quiet authority, he makes his presence felt. No matter where he goes or what he does, he always stays as the centre of attention or at least as part of heated gossip.

When talked to, Iza seems although comfortable in terms of making new friends, but has serious addictions when it comes to criticizing others; Iza has a zest to keep things clear and make all available things that are in front of him and mould him according to 'his' requirement.

For understanding Iza's personality won't be much of problem, since a lot of people in the organization have been specifically and significantly terming his seriously disturbing ways that either put him in a bad position or make him go aloof whenever it comes to organizational happenings; Iza has been labelled 'difficult' by a lot of people in the organization. A more clear example of his own working is that on one hand he is talking to a colleague in a particular time interval, treating them nicely, making good connections and bonds with them, and then when discussing it with others portrays a completely different, rather opposite opinions, are being given out, like for instance, he may say sweet things to a person but say awfully rude, bossy and simply unacceptable comments regarding the same person to someone ...
