ABSTRACT
In this research study the main focus is on the implemnation of MIS in the engineering organizations in order to make them competitive in today's competitive work. The MIS implementation not only improve the work but also maintain and enhance its effectiveness, and efficiency. In the research study, the secondary qualitative case study research methods have been employed. The results have proved that MIS implementation in the engineering organizations are beneficial not only for their work force but for its business operations.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background of the Research
In the evolution and transformation of organization and society, information technology is becoming key enabler. As a result of this development, the demand for skilled engineers has increased. These leaders can undertake tomorrow's information leaders' role. The design, development, establishment, management, and administration of IT systems buttress the operations, strategies, and tactics of the organizations. The information technology helps the organization in supporting and transforming organizational activities, including business models, business processes, decision support, and knowledge management. MIS were designed to assist management by creating consolidated information methods to improve communication decision-making across the organization.
