With regards to the case in which involves an employee who sent photos which were not appropriate in an alleged manner through e-mail. Attached were sent and they were compressed with zip utility for which evaluation has been done. After the examination of the employee's hard disk drive, it was revealed that the file which was name orkty.zip was suspected as a graphic file. However, when I tried to view the file in an image viewer, the message that I could read indicated that the file which was corrupt. Since the file needs to be recovered, there are different steps that can be taken.

Ethics is a moral philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and unethical behavior. Ethical theories have been defined by the philosophers into three areas, which are metaethics, normative ethics, and applied ethics on the basis of which ethical choice can be determined (Morris, 2007). Metaethics reveals the traces where the ethical principles come from and what they mean to an individual. They refer to the actions that are considered as a universal truth such as “stealing is wrong”. However, a more practical task is involved in normative ethics because they refer to the moral standards that determine right and wrong such as our habits and duties. Specific, controversial issues come under applied ethics while includes abortion and nuclear war.

In this case, it can be said that ethical standards have not been followed and the way that can be used to retrieve the file will be to use different softwares. For this purpose, the person expert in the field needs to be contacted. However, if the company does not have this person internally, external person needs to be hired to perform the task.
