A decline in unit prices due to the persistence of heavy competition and lower component costs will offset by an increase in penetration within the growing smart phone market as the iPhone had recently introduced on Verizon's (VZ) wireless network (Anderson, 1994).

I phone was available for the first time on different, affordable prices. The iPhone 3G includes 3G networking and GPS navigation aids, among others. On 8 July 2009 at the WWDC and Apple introduced the iPhone OS 3.0 with the new iPhone 3G available in video camera, internal compass with capacities of 16 and 32 GB, both black and white with a price of $ 199 (16GB) and $ 299 (32GB). The iPhone 3G 8 GB is still available for very reasonable price (Apple, 2010).
