My name is Mesfin, I am a bioethist in the Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This research paper includes the study of euthanasia and its relevance to the two new, difficult cases that are facing the hospital. The term euthanasia often elicits a different kind of answers from individuals. The reactions may be associated to one's understanding of what euthanasia is and one's know-how with end-of-life decision making, one's devout or religious conviction scheme, or any number of other factors.
