ABSTRACT

Performance appraisal is a very important part of an organization as the process of performance appraisal helps an organization to analyze the performance of their employees on a regular basis. The performance appraisal system in an organization can play a huge role in making sure that organization operates in a profitable manner and achieves its objectives; since, it can make a huge impact on the motivation and morale of the employees. In this research, we had examined the performance appraisal system of State Bank of India, Hyderabad. For the purpose of examining the performance appraisal system in the organization, we had utilized both primary and secondary methodologies. In our analysis, we had identified a number of problems in the performance appraisal system of State Bank of India, Hyderabad. We had recommended the application of 360-degree feedback performance appraisal and feedback system for State Bank of India, Hyderabad.
