Introduction

Kolb's learning model was discovered in 1984 by David Kolb which comprised four stages. First stage of Kolb's learning model comprises participation and involvement with people, places, and events of learning which ultimately develops concrete experience. The second phase of Kolb's learning model involves thinking and processing the useful information gathered through the learning experiences, this stage is named reflection where the individuals review their past experiences and measure the efficiency of their decisions to set the benchmarks for the future. Third stage is the procedure considering the evaluation of previous learning experiences and encounters, acknowledgement of their strengths and flaws and identification of the areas where they can be applied. The fourth phase of Kolb's learning model involves vigorous testing of the past experiences, and their implementation in form principles and theories that may serve as guideline.

Discussion

It is said that the most important work in this world is to convince someone and amend his/her perception about something. This is the key to become an effective and efficient marketer because marketer's success story is dependent upon his tendency to manipulate others perceptions. I believe that the knowledge that you acquire corrodes if it is not followed by practical implication. This is the thought which motivated me to step into professional life. Sales management, sales promotion, personal relations with clients and strategy formulation were the tasks defined to me by my job description.
