In line with the review of the works that I have done, my contributions are very much in line with the requirements of the Journal of Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship (JUNS). The ideology behind the establishment of JUNS is to bring about the most contributive of works that students have presented and continue to prove as a platform in order to understand and comprehend diseases and ailments with a keener, clearer eye.

For the works that I have completed while being in the field of nursing for the past ten (10) years, the most critical of cases that I came across were related to women, particularly problems that were related to their reproductive system. In my time that I have served as an enrolled and a registered nurse, women experience problems at multiple levels after they have been through the phase of sexual intercourse.

My work revolves around Cervical Screening and the benefits it has upon the lives of married and unmarried women, where regular screening, examinations and analysis are to be done and undertaken. It is extremely essential for this work to publish in order for it to contribute and promote a change in the paradigm of thoughts and reducing the fears that are otherwise related to cervical screening (Holloway & Wheeler, 2002).

Multiple benefits could be reaped; the presence and the development of cervical cancer and reducing the spread of the germs that come with it, not only change the course of influencing people's beliefs and challenging the way in which individuals may continue to invest their efforts and make way for a better chance of women survival rate.
