ABSTRACT
In this research study, the purpose of the research study was to find the multinational human resource policies and procedures in the retail stores of Nigeria. Mixed methodology was used in which interviews and questionnaires were used to find out the responses of the respondents. Interviews were conducted from the managers of Nigerian retail stores and questionnaire was filled from the employees of Nigerian retail stores. After analysis and discussion, it was proved that the Nigerian retail stores are some what implementing multinational human resource policies in their stores.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background of Research
Nigeria is one of the countries which have made her free from the colonial regime; its economy is now moving towards growth and prosperity. The Nigerian retail stores are facing transformation in their HR policies and procedures. With every passing year, the living conditions in Nigeria has been improving, that is the reason many new retail stores are opening in this country. The retail sector is now employing new HR policies and procedures that results in increasing the company's overall productivity (Wheeler 2004, 75). The international human resource policies and procedures in the retail stores of Nigeria were found out in the research study.
Human Resource Management (HRM)
The human resource management (HRM) is a set of management practices with the objective of mobilizing and developing human resources that result in the efficient performance of the organization. The human resource management can be divided arbitrarily into two broad categories:
On the one hand, the administration of human resources (payroll, employment law, employment ...
