The paper discusses about the causes of the civil, and some of the major war that breakdown at that particular time, the paper also discuses some of the major people in the war who took part actively in the war. The war was avoidable, if Lincoln had simply accepted the Civil and been happy for them. But the coexistence of both nations would have been impossible.

Bull Run
The First Battle of Bull Run, also known as the First Battle of Manassas (named by Confederate forces, the name is still frequently used in southern states) was the first major confrontation of the Civil War between the Union (North) and Confederation (South).
The battle took place on 21 July 1861 near the small town of Manassas in Virginia, 60 km southwest of Washington. While they are confident of obtaining an easy victory, the forces northerners, not seasoned, under the command of Brigadier General Irvin McDowell crossed the River Bull Run to face Confederate army little more seasoned under the orders of General Joseph E. Johnston. Despite a commitment to the battle which is initially positive, strengths northerners suffer a bitter defeat, and routed, had to rely on Washington DC (Mason, 125).
Seven Days Battles,
The battle of the seven days was a series of six major battles that lasted from June 25 to July 1 of 1862 near Richmond (Virginia) during the American Civil War. Confederate General Robert E. Lee stopped the invasion of the Union Army of the Potomac, commanded by Major General George B. McClellan, to Richmond in an attempt to conquer the peninsula of Virginia.
Battle of Shiloh, and
The Battle of Shiloh (also known as the Battle of Pittsburg Landing), was the largest battle in the west stage of the American Civil War, carried out between 6 and 7 April 1862 in southwestern Tennessee. The forces of the Confederate States, under the command of General Albert Sidney Johnston and PGT Beauregard launched a surprise attack against the Union Army led by Major General Ulysses S. Grant, being close to defeat.
Battle of Gettysburg
The Battle of Gettysburg (1 to July 3 of 1863 ) was developed around the town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as part of the Gettysburg Campaign during the American Civil War. It was the battle that took more casualties in the United States and is often considered, in combination with the siege of Vicksburg as the turning point of the American Civil War (1861-1865), marking the beginning of the offensive of the Union was a great victory for the Federal Army and a fact disastrous for the Confederacy. The Union army was commanded by major general George G. Meade and the Confederates by the outstanding strategist, General Robert E. Lee.
