In this study we try to explore the concept of abusive behavior of parents with the children in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on child abuse and its relation with their adulthood. The research also analyzes consequences of abusive behavior with children and tries to gauge its effect on their adulthood. Finally the research describes various recommendations for preventing this critical problem of our society.

Child abuse has become a controversial topic today that needs to be addressed on top priority. Throughout this paper, we will deal with the issue of child abuse in the family. The issues that are highlighted in this study includes the violence of parents, the indifference of parents towards their problems and situations that the child is experiencing, neglect of basic needs, low self-esteem that has kids in bad situations generated by the family and learning of violent behavior by reflex (Oliver and Charles, Pp. 124). All these possibilities lead us to the heart of our work, consisting of generating severe psychological abuse of children in the period setting personality. Than the study take into account the effects of such abusive conduct by on the adulthood of children.
We have also mentioned about possible causes or consequences of child abuse. The first was that the family can be sick considering it is likely that parents of victims of violence were themselves once victims of violence in their childhood within an unfavorable economic situation, the sociocultural context within usual unedifying child abuse. It is also likely that addictions such as alcoholism and drug addiction suffered by any member of the family makes killers of children in their environment. The study draws some conclusions that allow us to provide alternatives for social work to help children with this problem. Finally, we consider that child abuse leads to future consequences in the development of people.

One can distinguish various forms of abuse that adults have on children: the neglect that is expressed in vulnerability, physical abuse is any form of corporal punishment, also includes the closure or intentional deprivation of care or food, sexual abuse, which is to force or persuade a child to engage in adult sexual activity, against which it cannot give informed consent, and last but not least, emotional abuse, which accompanies all others, but can be exercised independently of the others, for example, by terrifying threats, insults, devaluations and / or absence of affectionate expressions (Flaherty et al, Pp. 1235). All forms of abuse that we have described the children produce damage variables in function of several factors, especially the intensity with which they are exercised and its persistence in time, but always mean an attack on their lives and their health affects their overall development and allow staff in the future sequels.
