The paper is an account of the economic development of china in light of the historical scientific learning and development. It mentions the contribution of china in European development and how the Chinese traditions impacted the European economy. Unfortunately, the country rich in learning and arts lost its supremacy for a specific time period due to the stagnant economical development. Europe and west went step head china due to their continuous technological innovation. The paper focuses on the fact that despite an era of stagnancy, china revived its economic and cultural strength. Though, the progress is not as steady as compared to the European progress after the period of renaissance. Currently the economic condition is way better than other countries, and china has achieved second position after U.S as the economically progressive country. By 2020, it is expected to take the position of U.S.A in the development of science and technology projects.

Introduction
Much debate has been made about the contribution of Asia in European development in terms of culture, civilization, and technology. The scholars have carried out various theories and presented concepts which justify this contribution. However, the startling fact is that, on one hand Europe was learning from Asia and developing itself in science, technology, and medicine, but, on the other hand, the Asian countries became stagnant to their traditions and cultures without innovating themselves. While European countries were developing technology and academics, Asia was spending time in enjoying and appraising its previously gained expertise InTechnology and education. The benefit to Europe was the colonization, which provided it with an ample human resource and intellect through which the renaissance process became possible (Elman, 220).
Out of the Asian countries which included European development, china has an unusual name. The rich cultural background, philosophy And Confucianism dynamics provided strength to the peak of Chinese culture and economy. Europeans learnt a great deal in medicine, technology, and science by Chinese scholars and traditions (Buckley, 256).
