ABSTRACT
The work has been done in reviewing the process of employee induction in Oando Plc, which is basically integrated Nigerian integrated energy solution provider organization. The quality of the training and development provided to the staff in an organization determines the image of the organization and its individuals in the industry. In the open labor market, the potential employers judge the record which an employee has been keeping up regarding his training, development and the performance in his organization. For such a prospective employee, the development and career progression are the basic factors which provide him incentives in the industry. This dissertation is based the effectiveness of the induction in a holistic sense. Along with assessing its merits and demerits, the research study at hand also showed role of induction program and the processes involved in good induction program. Moreover, the study will be concluded and logical recommendation will be presented in the context of an effective induction program's formulation and its execution.
