ABSTRACT
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Employee Motivation” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Employee Motivation” and its relation with “Microsoft”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Employee Motivation” and tries to gauge its effect on “Microsoft”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Motivation” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Employee Motivation” on “Microsoft”.

CHAPTER 01: THE PROPOSAL
Introduction
Motivation is defined as a process of internally energizing as well as sustaining enthusiasm for working in an employee for work. The motivation has the ability to manipulate the effort (intensity), the activities choice (direction) as well as the effort's duration (persistence) that an employee put into work, on the behavior of an individual. In general, motivation can be characterised as a force or power that lives within an individual effort and influence, directed behavior and ultimately performance swings and other one by one the results. The researchers accept as fact the importance of individual motivation in the development of vocation has been developed in recent years by a type of reasons (Abbott 2003 333). For the demonstration, the work functions have become more flexible, less well defined, as well as subject to change expansion of both organisations at home and in the span of a vocation, which often involve multiple organisations.
Career transitions appear to be more common and larger part of qualitative differences in previous years. Self-management of their own development vocation is seen as increasingly important in this environment safer. People are encouraged to take responsibility for his own vocation, not only by the press as well as the directors liked him and called, but also by the organisations in which they currently reside. The researchers said that people seem to desire to control the direction of their vocation, with an effect that can significantly influence their own destinies. However, this desire varies among individuals, and some find the prospect of having command of their own destinies fear of what appears to be an increasingly insecure world.
