Women Empowerment in IT sector of the UK through Human Resource Profession

Abstract
Women empowerment is the power of women to select a career that provides growth in career, corporate and society. IT sector of the UK provides many job opportunities for women through HR profession. The role and importance of women empowerment in the corporate world through HR profession is valuable, because women use their ability and skills in human resource management of the organisation. At the same time, there are various issues regarding the low empowerment of women in IT sector. These issues are marriage, children, career and other circumstances that influence the growth and involvement of women. Female employees face issues in terms of gender based discrimination and employee participation in the organisation. For this research, secondary data collection is the main method to collect data and information. Interviews are the primary data collection tool used in this research. This research has addressed three main objectives to resolve the research problem. The first was to examine women empowerment in the corporate world through HR profession. Second was to analyse the women empowerment and third was to analyse the role and importance of women empowerment in the corporate world. This research was followed on the basis of qualitative perspective. The research has used interpretivism paradigm and inductive approach to resolve the research question. Data findings were analysed with the use of thematic analysis approach.

1.1 Enquiry Overview
This research is based on women empowerment in the corporate sector. The main aim of this research is to identify and analyze women empowerment in the corporate world in IT sector of the UK. Furthermore, the role of human resource management in encouraging women empowerment is also included under another purpose of this research. Along with this, extent of women empowerment in IT sector of the UK is also focused in this research. These indicate to the main points and criteria of the research those are considered in this research. Chapter one to six are structured in an effective manner to accomplish the aims and objectives of the research. It can be described as follow:
