Introduction

In order to live a happy and contended life it is imperative that we should lead our lives according to the laws, rules and regulations. in a country in order to maintain order and peace the government devises various laws, rules and regulation. There is a proper procedure of formulating laws. Innumerable laws that we are abide to follow formulated by government are passed from time to time. As we face new problems and new situations we begin to formulate new laws, rules and regulations. A law is implemented or becomes the part of the constitution when a bill is passed by the congress. The aim and objective of this paper is also to talk about how a bill becomes law. The following part of the paper describes the process of formulation of laws by passing a bill.

Discussion

Each year thousands of bills introduced in Congress, but only a few hundred of them are adopted. We summarize below the stages between the drafting and promulgation of a law. The process of formulation of law starts when a member such as a representative or a senator presents a bill in the legislature and also provides an explanation. The bill is given a number and a title. This is the first reading, and the bill is referred to the proper committee. This is called the first reading and this occurs on the premises of the Legislative Assembly.
