The primary focus of this chapter is on the organizational and economic characteristics that associates youth gangs to transforms various fundamentals of organized crime. The focus of this reading is to relate the suggestions of Jankowski about the over generalization of organized youth crimes. He explained a significant component of the broad structure by which contemporary crime has been organized. This concept is comprehensively discussed in his book Gangs and social development in the year 2003 (Sanchez-Jankowski, 2003).
