Introduction

This paper is designed to cover the interview with Tamim Bayoumi, who is currently a Deputy Director in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department. Apart from accomplishing his responsibilities, Tamim also supervises many grounds of the IMF's research agenda and multilateral policy, which includes country vulnerability assessments, early warning exercise and trade issues.
