By "socialization", I mean the interactions that go beyond what is required at work. These are the interactions that go after the working hours established and created primarily for entertainment and networking. Socialization with your coworkers is not required to keep your job, but is almost always necessary to climb higher up the career ladder. It is important to socialize with others as you build strong relations with the Co-Workers and seniors, which help individuals in their work life and also offer helps from others when an individual needs it.
