Describe the viewpoint of working in partnership in social care and Health services.

The social workers can avail the empowerment in the baby peter case as they wanted to address the child right of protection in the current case scenario. The Autonomy of parents should be overruled as the child was unwanted and they have completely ignored the child so the parents are blamed for their rights of autonomy and the ignorance of the child.

In the health care setting the case of the patient is discussed in the panel as the principles of power sharing and information sharing is helpful in the current case as the doctors and the health care providers discusses the case of the child and when the parents neglecting the child in this scenario the health care providers should take legal actions to concern the issues. In the health care practice such cases should be reported to the child protection act. The case of baby peter depicts the child abuse phenomenon was hidden by the family members and the social workers and health care provides came to know when the baby peter was found seriously injured in the hospital.

In the case of Peter due to the partnership and collaborative work, they detect the responsible people who were involved in the case. Social care and health sector has to develop very close relationships in order to protect the child from being abused. There are certain ways and attributes to develop partnership. Both sectors have to develop trust and confidence on each other's activities for the achievement of long term objectives. They have to respect for the specialist expertise in order to execute different cases and issues related to health and social. Additionally, exchange of information is also fruitful for strengthening of partnership and collaborative work to safeguard the child abuse in the society. If social care and health sector develop common goals to work then it is helpful for both parties to operate their activities effectively and efficiently for the benefit of a society including a child care.

The transparent communication flow can also foster such partnership for the long term benefit of the society as far as a child is concerned (Carson and Carnwell, 2005. pp.13-14). Partnership building in both sectors is a pivotal for the well being of the society because it safeguards the interests of many vulnerable general masses of the society.
