The main aim of the training is to provide the information to the companies regarding the health and safety procedures, different health and safety laws and the various techniques which could be used by the companies in resolving the health and safety issues. This training is based on scientific studies related to many relevant areas of health and safety in the workplace, social sciences and law. The continuous improvement of the health and psychological safety in the workplace is also clearly defends the strictly financial point of view. "Workplaces that have a positive approach to health and psychological safety are environments where employees are involved, where productivity is high and the financial prospects are good. "
The standard was not designed to be built with federal, provincial or territorial legislation. Workplaces can use it according to their needs regardless of their size. In some circles, the standard will be the basis for the development of policies and processes to promote mental health. For others, it will strengthen the measures already in place.
