ABSTRACT

In this report, the researcher has chosen FTC as the nursing home to be examined for work life balance. The main aim of the study is to study the work life balance of providers at FTC. The researcher drafted a detailed questionnaire and the employees of the FTC were interviewed. The researcher found that FTC has many policies related to work life balance of their employees. The employees were given the opportunity to work in flexible hours. The environment of the FTC is very dynamic and caters to the need of all the employees. Nurses life is very demanding but apart from job they must be given ample time for recreation as well which is provided by the organization.

Study Background

Fred Tibble Court is under TLC Company. TLC is a Domiciliary Care Agency operating a branch Fred Tibble Court, and is a registered charity. TLC operates a block contract, under commission from the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, for the provision of personal care to the tenants of Fred Tibble Court, which is an extra care housing project. Hanover Housing is responsible for the housing element. TLC is committed to promoting independence and provides assistance and support to people living with dementia. The researcher has chosen this organization as it is near to his residence and he can easily research on this organization.
