Introduction

At present, workplace research addresses a limited number of outcomes such as particularly occupant comfort and perceptions and limited topic areas such as ambient conditions. Less attention is being paid to the organizational and group level outputs and processes. There is a need to understand the significance of workplace design and how does it promotes organizational effectiveness and performance.

Evaluation of effectiveness of organization is an important element in the development of work design and plan. It also helps in developing decisions which detects the level of progress for existing structure, development projects or planning activities and is conducted to select the most rational option structures or ways to improve it (Heerwagen , p. 510). Organizational effectiveness should be assessed at the design stage by analyzing structures of organizations to plan and implement measures to improve performance.
