Women's Right to Vote

In this paper, I will discuss the voting rights for women in the United States and evaluate the significance of the speech delivered by Susan B. Anthony in 1873. While evaluating thr speech, it give me a great couerage and zeal, I have been taught a great lesson from this speech, as how the lady had fought for her and the rest of the women, apart from that I did not have any difficulty in executing this essay. The purpose for which I have chosen this topic because we should know about the great people who have fought for their rights and not only she but she also did it for the rest of the women in the country. Susan arrested for illegal voting in 1872 presidential elections. Her speech highlighted the concern of women rights for voting and questions the constitutional provisions for women prevalent in the United Sates at that time. I support the concept presented by Susan B. Anthony as it provided the basis for the establishment of the nineteenth amendment of the United States Constitution, which guarantees the women rights to vote in the elections (Phillips, pp. 39).

The presence of women in political and social fields has always been put into question, particularly the right to vote and that she considered unfit to exercise a free vote. It has long been imposed below the level it was man, regarded the weaker sex and continues with the role imposed by the society in which she was responsible for safeguarding the good of the family.
