Introduction

Correctional facilities provide an opportunity to the people who have conducted illegal activities to serve punishment, reflect on their actions and provide training and rehabilitation to them so that they can become a part of society again. Prisons are usually used for confining people to a limitation and deprive them of their freedom so that they can suffer the consequences of their actions. We will be looking into the facts of women incarceration in the Pennsylvania prison system.
