Intorudction
In the sixteenth century a group of writers and poets created a close relationship with literature, also producing literary works. Previous literature was exclusively male and was dedicated to remember the role of women in society. As a result of these writings between 1400 and 1600 relates changes between the two sexes. In the first half of the sixteenth century almost all adult women of the city, except the sisters were married or they had been. The daughter of a rich merchant, a lawyer or an agent of Finance could be engaged in their teens, but usually the women waited a few more years: the time needed to form the dowry due to the efforts of the family, or their wages, or the contribution of a master or a mistress generous. Then the children began to arrive, gradually every two or three years.
