I have chosen this topic for the purpose of my investigation because I believe that such practices need to be researched a lot more than they have been already researched. Moreover, all the ethical dilemmas in relation with the aspects of euthanasia certainly make me questions all the doctors participating in the voluntary active euthanasia. Being related to the field of medicine, this issue becomes extremely important for me to consider. On a personal level, I am certainly against such practices; however, the aspect of correctly utilizing of such treatment urged me to investigate about the topic.

Medical personnel usually justify the usage of 'withdrawal of treatment' concept with saying that it is necessary for the patients to provide an end to their sufferings.
