Will Western U.S. Cities Such as Phoenix Run Out of Water?
Introduction
Climate change has had a major impact on the water supply in western US cities. One of the major concerns is that the Colorado River is running dry. The Western parts of United States were developed at a time when there was plenty of water in the region; however, the conditions have changed drastically and now the Colorado River does not have water to an extent that it ends a few miles before the sea (Snyder, 2013).
