Introduction

The history in relation to weapons is a vast topic to tackle as there were series of weapons that were made, rendered and re-rendered to be effective in tackling the opposite forces of enemies. Weapons commonly can be defined as a tool or an instrument that can be used stop an individual or a group of individuals to halt the activity that they intend to do by mainly injuring or killing the entities. Usually it is used against individuals who have the intentions of harming the other entity for a vested interest. Besides the usage of weaponry in times of warfare it is also utilized for combating against other situations that may arise in a country. Weaponry is used for hunting as well as gathering purposes, used by the police to preserves the law and order situation when it gets out of control and threats the other citizens of the society. Weapons are also used to safeguard the border of the countries against infiltration and attack hence securing the borders.

Weapons have played a very vital role in a society as it has been a source of molding or changing it for the betterment of the society or for the worse. Weaponry has been a source that has changed the course of the history. They have been a source that has made or broken civilizations. The variety of weapons utilized ranges from Gunpowder which was a Chinese invention introduced in Middle Ages and aided in military revolution by being a premise based on which numerous weapons were made which under propellant-based ordnance. World War II was the time which was cause of arms race and it was the time when culmination and development of the atomic bomb occurred.

In the past, there have been varieties of weapons which have been modified to fit the needs or fulfill the ultimate purpose of attacking the other entity. However, since weapons have been re-modified it clearly shows that there has always been a needs for effective weapons.

Thesis Statement

Many schools of thoughts have arisen stating that XM-25 will not change the course of combat but I firmly believe that XM-25 will change the course of future combats and will make the defense system of the US army intensively efficient and effective.

Discussion

It is observed that for years enemies hide behind the barriers and save themselves from being killed and at the same time are able to kill the opposite force as in the case of Afghanistan.
