A: Introduction

This paper confers about the latest development of media these days “WikiLeaks”, its goals and the reasons behind controversial nature. The opportunities and threats in the current global scenario created due to WikiLeaks. We further discuss if the confidentiality in government issues coming to its end with the advent of WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks is a global not for profit organization which circulates assents of secret, clandestine and confidential media through news leaks and anonymous news sources. This website, initiated in 2006, stated a record of over 1200000 documents in one year of their commencement.( Hennigan,24) WikiLeaks expresses its creators being a joint of Chinese nonconformists, reporters, start-up company technologists, and mathematician from the U.S., South Africa, Australia, Europe, and Taiwan. (Matthew, 6) An Australian Internet activist, Julian Assange, is by and large referred as its director. The site was initially commences being a user editable wiki, but has gradually transformed to a new conventional site and no more acknowledges any user remarks or amends. (Light, 25)

C: WikiLeaks; A danger for the security of nations
